Janne Parviainen Light Paintings

The Coffin Company Exhibits Work of Renowned Janne Parviainen.

We are honoured to be given the personal acceptance from artist Janne Parviainen to display his creations of 'light paintings' featuring eerie figures lurking in snowy forests.

Janne, 30, from Helsinki,Finland portrays his amazing talent depicting ghosts and skeletons with"Light painting photography using different light sources during long exposure times. All of his photos are straight from the camera, the light skeletons and light figures are drawn with LED lights, and no post processing of any kind has been done to them." Janne is renowned within the Art world for his creative talents and the ‘The Coffin Company’ are proud to provide a platform for the public to view a sample of his collection.

Light painting, also known as light drawing or light graffiti is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. Here at ‘The Coffin Company’ we have featured some of Janne’s Light Graffiti paintings within our site. He is an artist from Finland and shows us the art of light painting. In his photos, you will find creepy skeletons come alive.
Janne Parviainen is the first to officially break in our new Art category. Within our Art section of the website we aim to provide Janne Parviainen with a platform to showcase his amazing talent. Be it a portfolio of his best work or work on a single theme.
Janne is from Finland and likes painting and photography. He even uses his painting techniques in his photos and turns them into works of very colourful and fun art. If you want to know more about Janne please visit his website http://www.wix.com/jannepaint/jannepaint

The principle of light graffiti is that the camera shutter tone is very slow, with light skeletons waving out the shape of various sports, and then the camera recorded the light-emitting points on the trajectory.

Janne has also welcomed recent national editorial coverage in ‘The Daily Telegraph’ and ‘The Sun’ with his work also displayed at the renowned ‘Saatchi’ of Chelsea.

Light paintings and laser graffiti art pieces have risen in numbers recently, but none of them are quite as unique and sinister as the work by Janne.

Janne Parviainen sat in the snow for over two hours and experimented with fire and lighting effects to create his ghastly skeletal works of art. Janne said he even burnt his coat a bit during the process but to him the end result was definitely worth it.

Some may say Light Painting is really overused nowadays and that's true, it's a really simple and impressive technique and there's a lot of photographers using it. However, The Coffin Company like to think that besides being really overused, someone will always try to bring this technique into a whole new level. And Janne Parviainen definitely does that.

It's a big mystery, what turns his photography into something more artistic and quite unique.
